Crowdfunding meets e-commerce for small-batch cookies — back a campaign, watch it fund, then choose pickup, delivery, or shipping.

Challenge

Small-batch baking doesn't fit the standard store model — inventory doesn't exist until enough people want it. DOHHH needed campaign mechanics closer to Kickstarter than to a cart: cookies get funded into existence, and fulfillment splits across local pickup, delivery, and shipping. No off-the-shelf commerce platform handles that combination, so the mechanics had to be built.

Solution

We built the campaign platform first — crowdfunding flows with campaign progress, backer checkout through Stripe, per-order fulfillment choice across pickup, delivery, and shipping, and an admin view for managing orders on the other side. Then we rebuilt the storefront on Shopify Hydrogen, running on the Oxygen edge runtime with a custom Stripe checkout — pairing Shopify's commerce backbone with the campaign-first buying experience the brand is built around.
