A complete facial fitness platform — mobile app, content engine, and web experience built as one product suite, guiding members through daily lifts with real-time face tracking.

Challenge

Facial fitness is a young category, and building a real product in it meant solving three problems at once: a daily practice has to feel effortless enough to become habit, coaching has to work hands-free while someone's face is the workout, and every surface — app, web, marketing — needs to draw from the same programming so content never drifts out of sync. Off-the-shelf fitness app templates weren't built for any of that.

Solution

We designed and built the entire suite around a single content backbone. A Payload CMS instance is the source of truth for programs, lifts, and cues, with generated types flowing into every consumer so the app and web can never disagree with the content team. The mobile app is built on Expo with custom native modules — real-time face tracking on Apple Vision so members can check form against the movement, and native Instagram sharing for progress moments. Coaching audio is produced by an automated text-to-speech pipeline that generates phase intros, transitions, encouragement, and countdowns, so every lift is fully guided without a recording session. The web experience handles marketing, member accounts, subscriptions through Stripe, video through Mux, and in-person session booking.
